A SHORT PART FROM OUR BOOK
Our book, Çanakkale Geçilmez, ‘Galipoli Cannot be Passed Over’ has an unprecedented struggle in the history of the first world war. A nation that suffered and fought is told. Further the book tells the story of destruction, pre-war, post-war and its consequences. At the same time, reminding that war is destructive, weary and sad. It reminds all the states of the world that how wrong it is to use a weapon, unless it is strictly necessary, is for defence.
Due to the multi-faceted war of the Gallipoli War and the application of complex tactics, we have not used only a written language, but have visualized the scenes by supportive narrative maps.
WORLD WAR I BOOK
Before we can begin to describe the Gallipoli War, we need to take a look at the First World War. Because the Gallipoli War is one of the fronts in the First World War where the Ottoman Empire fought against the Entente States. In 1914, the competition for arms, competition in economic and psychological superiority among the European colonial states started the First World War. The most terrible and destructive war was this in 1914-1918 war that the world has ever seen. The war covered the entire world, using weapons of mass destruction unknown until that time, resulting in the deaths of millions of people.
